Dance For A Purpose, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching young girls the art of dance while instilling the values of giving back. Through inclusive training and participating in community events, we create opportunities for young dancers who may not otherwise have access to the world of dance. Our students not only grow as performers but also as leaders who understand the importance of service and community involvement. At Dance For A Purpose, Inc. every step we take is with purpose - creating confident dancers and compassionate community members and future leaders.
MEET OUR DIRECTOR
Kayla Wyatt
Dance For A Purpose, Inc. was founded by Kayla Wyatt while she was still in high school. It began as a school project where students were challenged to create an idea that would both serve the community and provide a valuable service to others.
Kayla's lifelong passion for dance inspired her to create a program where girls could learn to dance while also giving back. Instead of traditional tuition fees, students contributed to various charitable causes within their community, turning their dance education into an act of service.
Through Dance for A Purpose, Kayla has provided her students with the opportunities to perform at community events and make a real impact. Her dedication and leadership have earned her national recognition, including the President's Award for being in the top 10% in the country for community service, as well as being named Millennial of the Year in her community for her outstanding influence and mentorship through dance.
